Today your child learned about the Bible story called Jesus Raises Lazarus From the Dead. Mary and Martha were sad and wished Jesus had come sooner to save their brother. When Jesus saw everyone crying, he wept because he loved Lazarus and didn’t like seeing his friends sad. Jesus allowed Lazarus to die so he could show everyone God’s power within him.
However, His promise to all believers is that they will live even after they die. That means not everything will be fixed on earth, but everything will be made right in Heaven. That is he promise of new life with Jesus for everyone who chooses to believe in him and accept his gift of salvation. This is a great time to talk to your child about their faith in Jesus
