Parent Discussion
This week your child learned about the Bible story “Joseph and the Promised Land.” The children
learned about how God is with us even when we’re happy. The Bible tells us that God was with Joseph all throughout his life, including the good times. Our hope is that the kids walk away knowing that God is with them even when they’re happy too! Take some time this week to go over the following questions to help reinforce that Biblical truth:
- Was God with Joseph even when he was happy?
- When are times that I feel happy?
- Who is with me no matter how I’m feeling?
