Jesus was going to heaven to prepare a place for all believers. When Thomas told Jesus that they did not know the way to get to where Jesus was going, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my father is. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him!”
Some of Jesus’ disciples still wanted proof that Jesus was going to be with the Father. But the disciples had to believe that what Jesus was telling them was true. Jesus wanted them to know that they needed to have faith and believe. When you make the choice to follow Jesus, He lives in you and so does God the Father through the Holy Spirit.
When we have Jesus in our hearts, others will see Jesus through your actions, your words and the love you show to others. Jesus is the only way to God the Father. If you know Jesus, you know God the Father.
