Today your child learned about the Bible story called Jesus Heals a Paralysed Man. His friends helped bring him to Jesus. They carried him to the house Jesus was at, and when they couldn’t get inside, they climbed the roof and lowered him down so he could be right in front of Jesus
He forgave and healed the paralyzed man. He did a miracle simply by telling the man, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!” They praised God for the miracle. They believed Jesus was God’s Son who had been given authority to forgive sins and do miracles.
A good friend makes sure their friends know about Jesus. You can bring them to Jesus by inviting them to church, praying for them, and telling them about the amazing things Jesus has done. You can live your life in a way that shows you love God by making good choices and being a good example. Your life can show others that you love and believe in Jesus, and that he is doing amazing things in your life.
