Salvation Message

Today your child will be given an opportunity to accept Jesus into their heart through a Salvation prayer and message. If your child does accept this, please let your Grade leader know, as we want to walk your child and family through the following:

Parent Discussion

This week we continued our series on the Armour of God by learning about the Helmet of Salvation. Much like soldiers use helmets to protect their heads, the Helmet of Salvation protects our minds from fear and worry. Once a person  surrenders his or her life to Jesus and accepts the free gift of salvation, the Helmet of Salvation is placed upon their head to protect them from the arrows and javelins of fear and despair that Satan hurls at the believer. Because of the Helmet of Salvation, we have no reason to fear Satan’s attack and we can continue to live confidently in Christ. Take some time this week to discuss the following questions with your child.

1. What does a helmet do?
2. What does the Helmet of Salvation protect?
3. When you ask Jesus into your heart, He protects you. What does He protect you from?
