Big Idea
Easter: The Last Supper (Luke 19:28-44)
Big Point
I will always remember the sacrifice Jesus made for me.
Big Word
Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (NCV)
Parent Discussion
This week we begin our Easter series where your child learned about Jesus’ last supper with His disciples. They broke bread and drank wine as a way to remember Jesus – a practice called communion we still use today! Take some time this week to review these questions with your child, encouraging them to remember who Jesus is and what He has done for them.
1. What happened at the Last Supper?
2. Why was that important?
3. Why should we remember Jesus?
