Parent Discussion

It is week four of Daring Faith! We have learned about Noah, David, and Joshua. Today your child learned about Daniel and his mighty faith! Daniel stood strong and did what he knew to be right even in the face of fear and
worry. Daniel was obedient to God because he knew that is what God wanted of him. Your child was reminded that God created a plan for each of us even before we were born and we must stand strong in our faith and trust in His plan. It is our hope that your child learned that faith is standing
strong! 

1. What did Daniel continue to do even though he knew he might be punished for it?

2. What does the word obedient mean? Why do you think it is hard to be obedient?

3. Have you ever had to do something you knew was the right thing to do even if everyone else was not obeying?

4. In the story, you learned about being obedient to God. Who else does God want you to be obedient to? Why?
