Read Genesis 13
How have you experienced tension between wealth/possessions and relationship?
Where do you see differences between Abram’s priorities and Lot’s priorities? What does Abram’s response show us about what He has learnt after coming out of Egypt?
Lot sees Eden and Egypt as the same paradise (v10). Why do you think he has made this error and what does this show about his relationship to God and His promises?
- Do you see areas in your life where you have also confused Eden and Egypt? In what ways is God asking you to repent as Abram?

Spend a few minutes in personal reflection. What is the Holy Spirit impressing on your heart? (3 mins)
- Take time to share how the Holy Spirit is challenging you. How can you be accountable to each other? Consider keeping a record for the purposes of prayer and accountability. (12 mins)
