Who We Are

NLEC Community Care was established in 2007 by New Life Evangelical Church (NLEC) with the vision of providing care and services to the Chinese community in Victoria. We endeavour to provide quality children services, parent/carer training, and information and services on physical, emotional, and mental health. After years of development, we have established a good level of service foundation and volunteer participation network.

Our staff can communicate in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. We welcome you to contact us via phone, wechat, or email.

Child Safety Policy

We have zero tolerance to child abuse. Our practices comply with the Victorian Child Safe Standards.

We will provide an environment where children and adolescents will feel safe and secure, and we endeavour to always protect the safety and welfare of children and adolescents entrusted in our care. We will practise inclusiveness and take into consideration the opinions and needs of these children and adolescents when we are planning for services.

We also care about children from the Indigenous community, as well as children from a multicultural and disability background. Our staff and volunteers fully understand that whatever role they play (individually or as a team), their first priority is always the safety and welfare of the children and adolescents.
