Armour of God (Helmet of Salvation)<\/em> – Ephesians 6:17<\/p>\n The helmet of salvation protects our minds from fear when we believe in Jesus<\/p>\n ‘<\/span><\/span>Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong<\/span>‘<\/span> (1 Corinthians 16:13 NLT)<\/span><\/p>\n This week we continued our series on the Armour of God by learning about the Helmet of Salvation. Much like soldiers use helmets to protect their heads, the Helmet of Salvation protects our minds from fear and worry. Once a person\u00a0 surrenders his or her life to Jesus and accepts the free gift of salvation, the Helmet of Salvation is placed upon their head to protect them from the arrows and javelins of fear and despair that Satan hurls at the believer. Because of the Helmet of Salvation, we have no reason to fear Satan\u2019s attack and we can continue to live confidently in Christ.
